Virtual Options Available

If you live at a distance and are not available for in-person lessons, virtual options are available.

Individual lessons are taught through Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Teams, or a similar site of your choice.

You would need reliable internet and a device with a camera that can connect through one of the apps listed above.

Online learning is here to stay. Most colleges and even some high schools now offer online courses. Studies show that virtual learning can be just as effective as traditional classroom lectures and is supported by research from various resources, including MIT. I have taught in a public high school setting, using an online platform, for the past nine years. My own experience in the virtual world corroborates this research.

 

However, many may wonder, can you learn something like playing a musical instrument online? If you don’t have someone sitting next to you, correcting your every move, can you still learn as well? Well, I am here to say, yes, you can!
